Description
SS-31, also known as Elamipretide or MTP-131, is a cell-permeable tetrapeptide (D-Arg-2′6′-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2) that selectively targets the inner mitochondrial membrane. Research highlights its role in stabilizing cardiolipin, reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS), and restoring mitochondrial cristae architecture. Used in studies on aging, ischemia-reperfusion injury, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Each vial contains 5mg lyophilized peptide. For research use only.
